1st day and I'm very very lost in this..

Hi y'all.. I'm really new in this.. I'm in north borneo malaysia.. Just purchase this iPad and I've got a prob.. My I'd only work for apps that are in Malaysia store.. I can't get any from outside.. Can anyone give me some tips on this.. Appreciate it a lot...

The app store homes in on a number of settings the Primary being the credit card info and your billing address you provide the app store with.

The settings you set on your iPad I find are not that important in determining which app store you get. Billing is everything.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

You can open another iTunes account for a different region. You will need another email address and as gmail does not denote a region, I would recommend this type of email account. There are many different app stores around the world and the US app store I would say offers the greatest range of apps. But you may need an iTunes gift card to open one here. These are readily available on the net and as you only need the number on it, this can be emailed to you after purchase. Have a look at the link below, you may be lucky enough to get the None Option, I however did not, hence the need for an iTunes card. You will also need an address here, do you have a friends address you can use?

Once you do open another account, whenever updates are available you will need to sign out of and into the pertinent account for the update and this is very simple. I hope this helps you.
