2 Person (or more) Games - Different Locations?

Looking for any games that can be played by 2 or more people on the iPod Touch/iPhone or iPad using wifi but players located in different places/cities.

Are there any games that do that? Best place to find them?

Simultaneously? Not sure but word games like Words with Friends is the only one that comes to mind.
