3g Ipad Question(s)

Hi all

Just a couple of quick questions.

I live in he UK and by a very lucky coincidence happen to be going to the US in a couple of days where I hope I will be able to pick up my ipad 2 a bit earlier than I otherwise would.

I am planning on going for one of the 3g models and just want to check that it should work back in the UK.

My understading is as follows:

• I should get the AT&T / GSM /EDGE version to be compatible with UK telcos; and
• The ipad is sold unlocked so I don't need to worry that it might be locked to AT&T or anything like that

Is this right?
