3rd party data backup

Hello!

New member so I hope this doesnt sound like to much of a silly question!

I plan on using my ipad for uni as all my readings come in pdf and i can use iannotate etc to help me with my readings, however I am worried that if I need to restore my ipad I will lose all data within these 3rd party apps.

Does the itunes backup save all of this data or does it just save the apps photos music etc?

If itunes does not back up this data is there a 3rd party app for windows that will backup 3rd party app data? I would rather not lose all of my uni readings/notes if the ipad does mess up!

I have the same question. I take a lot of notes, and can't figure out how to back them up, in case of iPad crash. Does anyone know how to do this?

Use an app that will sync to dropbox.
