I work in an Apple hater environment and am under attack. I need to find an Apple app that can run an searchable XML script. This XML file would need to pull a .pdf file from a repository. This file then needs to be displayed. Does anyone out there have a line on an app or an alternate solution?

In theory, Workflow could work.
You can't run scripts locally on the iPad, but the Workflow app has the ability to run scripts remotely over SSH. You'd need a remote host to log into with all the necessary scripts and languages installed.
But I have absolutely no idea of how to implement it. Well, a vague idea. I might manage something in a Unix shell using a Mac as a host, but have no idea at all how to handle XML Script.
