when i copy a batch of pictures to my ipad the previous batch is deleted or at least it disappears. can i have all batches of pictures saved on the ipad and if yes how?

Hello idodis, welcome to the forum.

When you 'batch copy' photos from your source to the iPad, you are doing this via the iTunes synch? If so, you need to create new folders in your source file. For example, if you used a folder titled: FileA, this FileA will have a similar folder on the iPad. However, if you batch from source back into the same file on the iPad, you will wipe out all those files already there and replace with new.

So the solution is, at your source create a FileB and then when you sync, FileB will appear as FileB on your iPad. I hope this helps you.

did not work. i copied a file of photos from my computer section d my pictires. i saw it in albums on ipad. then i created another fine in section c desktop with pictures i moved from the previous file (my pictures) mentioned above. i synced. nothing was left on the ipad - not the old ones not the new ones. also once they are on the ipad i do not succeed to save them. i must be doing something totally wrongly. can you go with me step by step. thank you and sorry to bother you.

Hello idodis! I am away from my PC, so it is hard for me to walk you thru the process of synching your source's files to your iPad. I hope that someone else will see this thread and assist you with this how to directions. I will check back here when I get back to my PC and walk you thru the process. In the mean time, go play angry birds!

Make a folder on your PC and identify it in iTunes as the folder you want to sync with. Tell iTunes to include subfolders. On your PC make subfolders in your main folder you identified in iTunes that you place pictures in. When you add new pictures you can add them to the main folder or to the subfolder. Each subfolder will show up as a new photo album on your iPad. They will all sync.

this time it worked well. thank you. i get things pretty fast - you only have to explain them to me very slowly. thanks a lot.
