Hi, I'm just new with Maps, read it in the User Guide a couple of times and put it to the test. My question: If you're going to a city or town you've never been to, but you *do know where you're arriving and where you're going to when you get there, can Map give you directions?

Everything I tried so far seemed based on Maps knowing your current location as the starting point. So, if you're in Delhi and going to Bangkok for the first time, will Maps then be of no use when you're trying to get around Bangkok, assuming you're still in Delhi?

Thanks!

To use an iPad like that, you'd need the WiFi plus cellular model. It has the built in GPS chip and will always know where it is as long as it can receive GPS signals.
