Accessing e-mail after opening document

Help! I opened a document attached to an e-mail in soca to go. Now when I attempt to go back to my e-mail, the document is open, and I cannot go back to e-mail. When I touch the document, I do not get any screen tha says done, or go back. HELP!

tap once somewhere in the document and a menubar will appear at the top of the screen.

press the done button on the menu bar to exit the document.
