Is there any way to create website shortcuts/links and then put these as an "app" icon on the springboard for quick access of frequently used websites?
It's a standard feature of all iPad's, not just JB ones
In Safari, visit the page you want to bookmark, press the "arrow" key to save the bookmark, and choose the "Add to Home Screen" option. The link will be placed on your springboard... Simple.
