Additional Email folders

I want to be able to file emails on my iPad in folders once they are received, but I cannot find a way of creating the folders. Can someone tell me how to do this on my iPad 2?

What type of email account do you have? If you have a pop account I'm afraid you can't. Some carriers will allow you to change to an imap account...have a look at this link...hope it helps you.
