Ads in apps

I just recently bought an iPad 2 and I'm having a blast with it. After playing around with the built in stuff, I decided to try and download some apps. I notice after opening an app, I'm getting advertising banners on the screen. I can't find a way to shut them off. Is there a way, or are these ads built into the app?

They are built into the apps. Ads are built into a lot of lite versions or free apps. That way the developer gets something for all his trouble. If you don't want the ads, you have to buy the paid version. Some aren't a problem but some really annoy. It's up to you
