Advice Required

Let me make this quick. My wife is a complete ????????? when it comes to anything to do with technology. I am no Steve Jobs - but have been in PC/s since 2 year prior to 81. Iphone? She gave it away. She as a Macbook Pro on which she checks her daily bank balance. Nothing else. Now misunderstand - I love her dearly.


Now - she loves pictures - looking at them. I have loaded every image viewer ever made for Mac on her machine - she can’t turn it on. OK so here is my new idea. I get her an iPad 3. No email; no net - just a personal picture album she can carry around and show folks. Obviously this will work - but being no wiz myself on pics - should I do the following? I use Aperture on my Mac. I unload all camera pics into Aperture - do what needs doing then send them to her iPad.


I could go direct to iPad, but that appears to leave me with limited (so far) adjustment opportunities. - and eats up space. I hate Photo Stream so that’s out. Im sure there is a simple way to get selected pics from Mac to iPad.

Aperture should work. I use iPhoto, but the setup is pretty much the same.

Though I just tested it (out of curiosity) and iTunes said it could not find my Aperture library. Not sure what's up with that.
