Airplay mirroring on the ipad (1)?

Is there a crack out to enable airplay mirroring for those apple dont want to give it to at all?

I have ATV2 and iPAD 1 and was able to mirror youtube video and video from websites. I cannot get HULU plus. Strange that its possible with some but not with others? iPAD is not jailbroken but ATV2 is.

I am also interested in this. I did the non-jailbreak method to enable gestures to my iPad 1 which worked. Some of the posts for this say it also enables airplay mirroring. I have an apple tv 2. When I have the iPad and TV one the same network the airplay option shows up in the iPad task menu by the volume control. I can chose to connect to the appletv, but there is no slider selection to choose mirroring as I think it is supposed to have. Anyone else try this? Can airplay mirroring be done on the iPad 1? Does it involve jail breaking? I have seen a lot of talk about a tethered jailbreak, I'm not sure I understand what that means, I have never jail broken.

Unfortunately, the mirroring function only works with/on the iPad2 (with iOS5), not the first generation.

Yes, there is a jail break option to mirror the iPad1 with Apple TV - but it still requires cables, AFAIK.

And no, I don't know why the mirroring function was built to work on the iPad2 and not the iPad1 after install of iOS 5...

To date there's still no known way to achieve true WiFi AirPlay Mirroring on the original iPad. More about jailbreaking here:
