Airport Express interference with Ipad

Using an Ipad to stream radio/music to outdoor speakers via airport express, problem is whenever the Ipad is anywhere near the airport express device, the signal drops out. Ipad inside the house....no dropout. Any idea what is causing this?

You might find some help here, where other people have been having the same problem but with a Mac instead of an iPad
