Albums... a daft question?

Just up loaded some random pics to an album, then saw the 'if not used within 1hr will be deleted' info. So I have, for now deleted the album. So is this option just a place to store pics for use in posts?

It's not a daft question at all, but can you give a little more info on it. Were you using the native photo app or another app. I have many albums and have never seen this. It's really puzzling me, let us know.

Well, I was just putting up three pics of my beloved ( semi) classic car. Files from my PC . My profile info mentions my 'passion' so thought it relevant to have the pics in my profile. Anyway I couldn't work out how to add them from my iPad, so did it from my PC . Uploaded, no problem. But I got this message saying: 'any pics not used within 1 hour will be deleted' . From that I wondered if albums were just for storing pics to put in posts....

So, you are talking about albums on the iPadForums.net site, yes?

I've never tried to upload a photo I didn't use in a post; so I'm afraid I won't be of any help here. Except to rule out the iPad itself as having anything to do with the problem.

I thought it might have been the IPF site, I use the app, I went into the site last night, but still on the iPad, I did notice photos uploaded there and they had been there a few days, so it must be possible. I didn't try it out though. Like Twerppoet I have only uploaded photos for posts. I'm hoping someone else can answer this question.
