So I grabbed Air Share HD to be able to remote access items and print and i discovered something really cool
I think it is mentioned in the app description but you can play mp3s and movies over the network/Internet but did you know that if you mount it as a network drive and drop media files onto the local drive you can view them as well. That means that while you would normally have to upload movies thru iTunes and they would have to be formatted as mp4, you can put regular h.264 mov files on the device and play them natively.
I thought this was cool..
