An iPad newbie

I just received this wonderful device over the holiday and am trying to orient myself to it. I do have a couple of questions for the experienced in our group.

1. Can you sync to Outlook both contacts and calendar?
2. Other than Safari have you found other browsers that are preferred? In the PC world I've liked using Chrome.

As far as browsers, it's a personal choice but I use atomic browser and Diigo browser. I'm sure Diigo was called Chromy at one point, can't remember exactly but have a look at them.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'll check in to the options you mentioned.

On another subject, is it possible to convert Windows Media Player audio files to be compatible with iTunes file format and transferred to my iPad? I have a lot of music on my laptop that I would love to put on this great device. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
