Android game on iPad

Ok this might sound like a stupid question but I am going to ask it anyway.

I have a couple of games I am playing on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and I was wondering if there is any way I can play the same games on my iPad. Both games are available in the app store but I don't want to have to start over again.

I suppose I am looking at copying the game data across to the ipad

I'm afraid that if you downloaded the iOS versions of the games from the App Store, you'd have to start over again. I don't believe that there's any way from transferring game data from the Android version of a game to the iOS version.
