Annoying "issue"

Whenever I'm on a Skype call, I'd like to be able to completely lower the volume. I used to be able to, but now I can't and it's making me want to ditch Skype. Anybody else?

Doesn't Skype have a Mute button? I haven't used it in ages, but I seem to remember one.

What happens when you hit the volume down key while on a Skype call? Does one of the other volumes operate instead? I'm sure you know there are multiple independent volumes on an iPad.

The volume goes down to a single dot, but I'm wanting to turn it all the way down. It seems to be a change that they made with an update to the app.

Ah. Chances are I wouldn't have seen it then, even if I used the app. I haven't updated my iPad in a dog's age, so I probably have an older version. All I ever use is FaceTime, and that on my phone.
