Any prgoram available to convert video, change tag and title info then put on iPad?

I have videos that are downloaded that I want to transfer to my iPad. I know how to convert them - that is the easy part. The time consuming part is renaming and changing the tag names on all the file, which are downloaded Television episodes. I now have to:

1) Convert them
2) Import into iTune as movies
3) Change all the tag info to TV Programs
4) Change the title, season, episode and year number by hand for each file

Is there a program that will do this all in one step? For example - given 5 episodes of the same program - to be able to convert them and rename and retag them all and import into iTunes? Any help would be appreciated.
