Any useful apps to gain 3G access from iPhone to use iPad?

Hello all, so I'm quite new to the iPad and was hoping I could download an app to use my iPhone as a hotspot to get Internet access through 3G? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks xxxx

There's no app for that, at least not on a stock iPad. If you're not jailbroken, you have to contact your cellular carrier and arrange for a tethering plan. Some carriers charge extra for this. For jailbroken iPads, there's the tetherme app, available from Cydia. You should be aware, however, that if your carrier discovers that you're tethering without an official tethering plan, they could cancel your service.
