ANY WORKAROUNDS FOR LACK OF DRAGGING ON IPAD TO REARRANGE FLICKR PHOTOS?
I like to take my iPad with me when I travel so I can post photos online whenever I have Wi-Fi access. I have posted to Mobile Me Galleries for several years and like their simplicity and elegant appearance. Now Apple is dropping them without explanation, and strongly steering users to Flickr as the closest equivalent, in fact, iPhoto for iPad does not even offer posting to Mobile Me.
I like iPhoto for iPad, and hope features such as brushes soon find their way into the OS X version. However, after perfecting my photos in iPad iPhoto, and easily posting them to Flicker, the problems begin. The basic issue is that many of the Flickr actions arranging sets and photos for display require dragging, but I can find no way to make dragging work on an iPad. This is very frustrating, and limits the overall value of the iPad+iPhoto+Flickr system.
The solution would probably be a Flickr app for iPad, (at present there is only one for iPhoto, which is mainly geared towards viewing photos, not posting and arranging them), but I don't know if Apple and Yahoo are collaborating on this, or even care about the lack of integration.
In the meantime, if anyone knows of any workarounds for this problem, I should be very grateful to receive them.
