App Dev's playing the App Store like the Stock Market. A question on free Apps.

I am noticing this alot lately. A Dev will drop the price of a App just to watch it climb to the top 10. This gains the App exposure. Once it is in the top 10, they raise the price back up.

Now my question. If I get this App while it was free, will I be charged for updates or if I choose to re-download it?
