App searching

When I do an app search from any category and open an app's info. Instead of returning to the series of apps that I just left it returns back to the very first app series that I started with. And I then have to swipe through all of the previous app windows just to get back to where I left off. Is there a way around this? It makes app searching very cumbersome and time consuming.

Sorry,but its an app store thing,if you look through this forum many people have had the same issue.

As the previous poster has commented - it is indeed a very annoying App Store 'feature' that Apple need to fix...how anyone ever gets to the end of a long list of apps is beyond my comprehension, you'd think the App Developers would have been ceaselessly complaining about this.

Sounds like I'm stuck with "search & re-search". Come on Apple, I bought your product for the quality!
Anyhow, thanx for the replies. It's good to share the frustration.

Check out the "app shopper" app. I do most of my searching there, then jump to the app store when I'm ready to buy, or want to see some reviews.
