App Store & iTunes South Africa

I just got my apple iPad2 this week. I have registers for apple ID etc. My region is South Africa. I have found that there are lots of apps and games that I can't get access to because of my region. Why is this? Surely iPad users globally should have access to the same apps!? I am pretty dissappointed in this. I can't even get "angry birds".

Hi there Steff and welcome.

This is an often reported issue however, you can get round this by opening an iTunes account in another country, maybe USA or UK. Check out this thread http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-help/30820-can-i-have-apple-store-accounts-two-countries.html

Remember, search is your friend.
