app store problem

Hi guys, new to the forum and new to the ipad as well (just got one for my birthday)

had it since the 21st so still very new but has been well used already! Just tried to down load some adds directly from the app store and it goes through all the usual process, asks for the pass word etc but once it starts to download it appears on the screen and then instantly vanishes??? no download???



Anyone ale to help?

I Think someone said according to Twitter the App store is down for a bit.
