App Store Surfing

When searching thru apps in a certain category in the app store, I find you can't scroll thru the apps by swiping the screen as you do with most functions. And if I find one after looking for awhile and start reading thru it and choose to go back, it takes me clear back to number 1 in that Category. Is there a secret to reviewing apps in the app store on the iPad that I don't know about? Thanks for letting me know.

Nope, sorry, that's just how the app store is. I use an app called AppShopper to do my searching, then jump to the store to buy. It has a lot of great and convenient features.
