App support gmail group contacts?

Is there such n App available? Doesn't make sense I can't send email to group. Tx for advise.

Look at MailShot. It's the app that most Members use for this purpose.

Tim, tx for the info but Mailshot does not connect to gmail groups. Too much work to create groups again. Just don't understand y IOS does not support it in it's email client.

Only way to connect to gmail groups is to open gmail desktop ( not the mobile version ) in safari and use the plain text option. For some reason you can't insert message in HTML mode.

I also have a feeling that Peter, the MailShot developer, has said something about this - but I can't remember what.

But he's a frequent poster, so I'm sure he'll be along soon to let us know...

Contacts will only sync with GMail when the account is set up as an Exchange account. Google uses Active Sync to do this. My understand, gleaned from other posts, is that Active Sync does not support groups, and so Google's Contact Groups can not be synced with the iPad at this time. Only contacts under the All Contacts group are synced.

I could be wrong in the reason, but the result (for now) is no Google Groups.

Unfortunately,I have never heard there is gmail groups worked on ipad by now.
