On the news last night they said Apple was again using Google Maps. Do the iPad4 owners need to download this Google Map App. from the Apple store or from Google?
8:42 PMApple has had quite a bumpy car ride so far with its mapping product. That all ends in just a couple hours, however, because late Wednesday evening Google is planning on bringing Maps back to iOS with the release of the company’s own software. AllThingsD is reporting that Google’s app will be available for download in the App Store shortly, and we’ll provide some initial thoughts on it soon after.
UPDATE: The Google Maps app is now live in the App Store complete with turn-by-turn navigation, public transit details and more. Users are reporting some initial difficulties downloading the app, but the issues will hopefully be resolved soon.
Thanks i found it.It's an iPhone app. At the top of your screen you should have a switch to change your view from iPad apps to iPhone. Touch that and Google Maps will be there.

There is now a Google Maps app available from the App Store. It is an iPhone app but will work on the iPad. The native app still uses the out of date, incorrect and downright embarrassing TomTom maps, as shown in this view of a road junction which was completed nearly a year ago.
