Apple logo frozen

I have an iPad 4 that was low on memory because of pinterest taking almost all of the memory. I deleted it and then rebooted. The Apple logo is frozen for over an hour. I tried to shut it down and restart and nothing happens. I have no control at all. How can you get it to reboot or to restart?

Apple logo frozen all night. All I can do is to shut the power off. Is there a way to reset? I plugged it into a laptop trying to get it to work with iTunes but nothing happens there either. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

To reset your iPad hold down both the home button and the sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears. This will be after 10 seconds.

Wait for a minute or so, then press and hold down the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears. The restart progress ribbon should appear. The ribbon will close once everything is restored.

I have done that several times and the Apple logo appears and just sits there. I cannot get past that point. I have tried connecting to iTunes with no luck. It's just frozen at the Apple logo. It was on all night that way..

See if iFunBox recognizes your iPad on your PC. If so, we can try to remove some of the photos or music and such and free up some space and see if that fixes the issue.

If none of the above fixes worked, just let it run out of power and start the recover again once it has charge up again
