Apple TV, sound and picture?

Hi all!
I have got iPad2 and just recently installed AppleTV. But - Could anyone explain to me why I'm not able to get picture while the sound is excellent using AirPlay functionality button to show films etc from my iÃ…ad to my HD tv set? Mirroring function ok, but I would preger the AirPlay!
