Apple UK Pricing?

What’s gone wrong with their UK pricing? When I looked the other day the current iPad Air 64Gb was £569, it’s now gone up to £669?!
USA price is still $599 and local UK store price is still £569.

Yesterday, I listened to an afternoon NPR (National Public Radio) program on the surging US dollar and the falling British pound - I suspect Apple is adjusting its prices overseas? Take a read at the link - Dave :)

Our UK inflation is now over 10%, but that is just the *average* of a collection of things. Some items in Tesco, my wife noticed, have gone up over 30% in the last year and I don’t see them stabilising or coming down in the short (probably several years) term🙁 Then, as Giradman mentioned, there is the change in the US dollar and Euro….

One question will be whether, or what, to buy now before the prices rise yet again. A dreaded spiral.
