attachments in Calendar

I seem to have a problem with opening attachments in my calendar. the example is in one meeting i have on my calendar the attachment says "<<SC Agenda 07 13 11 mb.doc>>" but it wont let me open it up on the iPad yet it will open up on a regular computer. Is there a way to open it up or figure out how it can recognize the document? ive opened up most of my stuff in Docs to go and it works fine but in this case i cant seem to open up anything that has an attachment in the Calendar App. Please help

As far as I know the Calendar App does not support attachments. I didn't even know you could see them, so I'm surprised.

You might be able to get your attachments by visiting your calendar's web site using Safari, or if that does not work one of the third party browsers that can pretend to be a desktop browser; Atomic and iCab Mobile are popular.
