Backstab stuck at 54%

Hi all

I recently started playing Backstab and the game is stuck at 54%. For me, it shows as if Blake dies every time I click on continue for the stage Santa Alodia. And it will give me the option to retry, click on retry again, same thing. I dont know how to proceed. I do not want to restart the game and waste all my efforts so far. Can anyone help?
