Backup app data without iTunes?

I want to restore and upgrade my ipad without backing up and restoring my information, I'm just gonna start fresh and sync my apps/pics/music/etc. from iTunes. My one problem, I've gotten 3 stars on a lot of my angry bird levels, and I don't want to start anew. So my question is, can I backup my angry bird data itself? A note, my iPad is jail broken and I do have ssh, I just don't know where to go from there
