Hi all

Does anyone know of a really great app that creates a barcode, which I can tag to a person etc, print the barcode off and add it as a tag to a device? I currently have a lot of mobile phones I'm losing track of and using excel where the list is getting longer and harder to manage

I would like to use either my iphone or iPad to generate a barcode against an asset, that asset is tagged against a person with details. Barcode is printed and added to the asset

Thank you

I use (and love) the app Qrafter. There is a free version and you can get a Pro version for $2.99 (USD).

I have the Pro version - so I don't know if this is possible in the free version, but - here are some screenshots of the various types of QR codes you can create (bar codes, too):

I made this (using my phone):

Then, I had these options:

So, yeah, I would say that this app should do what you need. So, maybe give it a try?

I never thought that I'd have a use for QR codes but after reading this I think that I do!!

I have that app, but had no idea that there was a paid version to all that too! I will have to check that one out!
