Battery apps

Thanks It appears to me that it as I thought just another thing to acquire. I tend to let my battery discharge at least once a month anyway, read the manual! as I always have done with laptops. The one I have does not record the charge if there is a break in the electricity so I was not impressed over that.

Have found a free battery app in the Play Store called DS (Deep Sleep) Battery Saver. When going to sleep it shuts down all those apps that like to stay active during sleep mode. It works! Very low battery usage, if any, when sleeping.
Set mine to 'Slumberer'. It can be toggled off/on in Notifications. Turn it off when, e.g., playing Pandora, or it can be added to an ignore list.
Something worth giving a try.

That sounds like a great app! But is that the Play Store or the App Store?? ;)

'Tis indeed a great app, been using it for awhile now - on android devices. Oops! Had one of those brain flatulation thingies, forgetting which device forum was being conversed upon. Humblest apologies. (With bowed head, kicking pebble and slinking on down the road.)
Actually, the trusty iPad 2 doesn't even need help with deep sleep. All ya gotta do is access Multitasking and swipe all open apps up into oblivion.
