Battery charging slow

Please does anyone have a problem with battery charging very slow? I got one for someone and he is complaining about it not charging fast enough

Many people used to phone charge times that are new to iPad may think it is charging slowly. As long as its taking around 5 hrs for a full capacity charge then all is well. Also, make sure you're friend uses the iPad block plugin end when charging or it will literally trickle charge very slowly.

Are you using the factory 12Watt charger to charge the iPad?
Any other method will give less than satisfactory results.
