If your device was upgraded to iOS 7 rather than restored, I'd recommend backing up your device and restoring it before following the guide as just this simple procedure alone added on top of the tips listed in @leelai's post by @TheSagittarious has resolved many issues including some battery draining issues.

This is what I did: I upgraded to iOS 7 on 18th of September OTA. Had some bugs but fixed them! But iOS 7 was "eating" my battery every minute. Then I decided to back up my iPad and tried to restore it through iTunes ! Did all the tips from the link provided on my thread and now I can use my iPad for hours and hours ! Very happy :D
A hard reset is recommended after the upgrade :).
Good luck everybody! :)
