Beneath safari bar

Beneath safari bar I have another bar that has the same permant links in it ie hotmail a web page visited and two other links nothing changes , how do I remove this

It's the bookmark bar. It can be erased in bookmarks with edit or it can be made be opened full time in settings. That's the setting you have.

Go to settings, Safari and toggle Always show bookmarks bar to off. It will only show when you type in the search bar. I like it there, it's where I put the sites I go to daily.
