Best apps to store research papers

I am researcing a project and would like to use the iPad to store and then catalogue the papers. Most will be pdf files but not all. I can convert to pdf on my home computer if need be. Primary concern is how to find a specific article when needed.Thanks for your ideas.RAM

I use iBooks. You can have as many folders ('Collections') as you need and they're all 'searchable'....

iAnnotate is great for PDFs and will turn many other file types into PDFs for you. I will allow you to mark them up and search the text as well as organize them into folders. PDF Expert does this as well. There are other apps in the store that are cheaper but they probably won't provide you with indebted search capabilities.

I should have mentioned iAnnotate. It's a great app and there's a comprehensive User Manual at the Developer's website too where you can read about all the myriad of features that it has. Definitely the 'Rolls Royce' product for PDF annotation.

The best research papers to buy are papers in history and medicine, and you can buy them online.
