Hello PKid - first welcome to the forum! 
If you need a new printer, the ones compatible w/ Air Print can be found HERE - you'll have to do some googling and/or wait for others to respond who may own one of these printers - I have a non-Air Print Canon Pixma w/ a solution - :thumbs:
Now, if you already own a printer that pleases you, there are other options - for myself, I am using a program called FingerPrint (check HERE) - just need a $10 addition to your computer that resides in the system tray - once installed easily prints from your iPad by simulating the Apple 'Air Print' technology - has worked well for me (and many others on this forum). Good luck in your choice!
