block website problem

I want to add parental control on my boy's ipad, is there a software (something is more like a porn filter, however this one is only uesed for PC) to block website? Any ideas will be appreciated.

You should be able to block websites at the perimeter of your home internet connection but on the iPad itself I don't think that there is an app for that.

Check out the iPhone configuration utility. There are some limited parental controls which can be set on the device, using the tool, such as "block explicit content"...not sure if that is granular as you want. You can set the profile so he can't remove it without erasing the device. Also not sure if it applies only to iTunes purchases or not....one way or the other it's an interesting tool to experiment with.

I will try, thanks.

iPad parental controls

You can use a combination of built-in parental control features and third-party apps like the Safe Browser from Mobicip to protect the iPad. If setup correctly, it can be quite as effective as the software you have on the PC.

Hello,
I use an app called "Safe Web for kids" to block all websites except the ones me and my wife allow for our children. It's quite easy to use and more reliable that any internet filter we have found.
I hope it helps.

There are so many softwares available, as told by members above but I think ipad itself provides prevention. Just go to ipad explorer > Options and you will see parental control options to restrict explicit content.

Yeah, maybe it works. If not, you can turn to other ways as above mentioned.
