Blue question marks in email

Since I've upgraded to IOS 5.1 I'm getting blue question marks where images should be in my emails. I'm accessing my yahoo account through safari on my ipad2.

I am having the exact same issue. I have found no solution other than going back to yahoo classier mail.

Have you all tried to use the Mail App for Yahoo? I do on my ipod touch and works fine without the blue question marks.

I have since returned to ipads mail app and that fixes it, but I am sceptical it won't start deleting email right before my eyes like it did last year. I may have to check yahoo and see if the classic mail will fix the issue.
