Can I use any bluetooth headphones with the ipad to listen to music?

I just connected my iPad to Bluetooth Motorola MotoRockr S9-HD headphones. I guessed at the 0000 pairing code and it worked! They sound great! I don't have VOIP so I don't know if the mic function will work.

Connection was a breeze. Went to Settings - General - Bluetooth - and set to ON. Immediately, I turned the headphones on and the iPad found them, asking for a pairing code.
