bluetooth wifi?

Is it possible to use bluetooth as a secondary wifi connection? I know on some devices it is possible and the ipad would have to be jail broken but can it happen?

What do you mean by secondary wifi connection? It cannot connect to a router, so it won't be wifi in that sense. You can connect to devices via blue-tooth. For example, I have given presentations where my iPad was connect to a project and its screen was on the screen....then I used my phone to send the talk over BT connection to the iPad..then I controled the talk from my phone as I was free to move around the room.

You can connect speakers and other devices via BT to your phone. But as far as I know, it doesn't have the bandwidth to do what a real wifi connection can do. It can stream audio and send files.
