Am I a little naive to have expected my iPad to simply connect with all and any Bluetooth device?
I mean this company prides itself on quality, but I can't connect my HTC Desire HD to my iPad to transfer a simple photo! Sheesh!!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Oh BTW I cannot use my iTunes as I synced it to the iTunes that WAS loaded onto my old laptop, after replacing the hard drive, and reinstalling iTunes it said, if you sync with me I'm going to wipe your pad clean and sync to my now empty iTunes, oh the fun... Not!
But hey, welcome to the world of Apple, right!

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

The bluetooth on an iPad will only connect to earphones and keyboards. How about emailing that photo to yourself.

You will need to authorize your new laptop so have a look at this link, in particular Twerppoet's post. I'll include another Apple link also.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks, I'll give both those ideas a go :)

Dropbox is an easy easy way to transfer. Another way is to use a transfer app--several good ones available.
