Thanks so much

There is not a way to dog ear a page in the iPad Kindle app--maybe different on Amazon's readers. However, every time you bookmark your location the app keeps track of that location. If you want to see the list of bookmarks, click on the open book icon at the center of the page, between the font change and the search glass. This will pull up a menu and at the bottom of the list you'll see bookmarks and notes. The notes would suggest that you can create a note when reading a book that would allow you to dog ear that section.

Another way to keep track or dog ear a book would be to do a screen shot. This is where you hold down the sleep button and tap home.

Tap the top right hand corner of the page under the battery icon. That bookmarks the page then use what MattIM suggested to find the bookmark you want. It shows a few lines of text for each bookmark so you can find the page you want.
