Hi, my iPad Pro has developed a one centimetre bright spot above the home button. It’s still under guarantee with John Lewis. Is it likely to be repaired or replaced and do I need to erase my iPad with a reset before I give it to them? I’ll obviously be doing a backup on my iMac. TIA.

Is this an ipad Pro 10.5 or the new iPad Pro?

You can also go direct to an Apple Store if it's more convenient as John Lewis would likely send it to an Apple service centre for warranty service if required.

Well mine was about 18 months old. It's now gone back to John Lewis for repair. I'm writing this on my old iPad 3. I had a look at the new 11" iPad Pro and I don't like it. Big mistake removing the home button in my opinion.
