Broken Charger

My IPad Mini's charger broke off in the port. Very little is showing for a place to grip to get it out. Apple store only suggested a new port. Looking to avoid the $220 for that. Tried superglue to pull broken part out, but didn't work. Any other suggestions for getting broken part out?

Do you have a picture of what the damage is?
I can't see how the charger port could break off. Isn't the 8pin male connector or the lightning connector on the cable? And if there is anything that breaks off, wouldn't it be the male part? Ok I'll stop there.

He never said it was the port.. he said the charger broke off so I'd assume he means the male part. Is there any chance you could get a tweezer around it?
